Coffee Recipes with Rising Coffee
So Many Ways to Enjoy Coffee
Coffee recipes go far beyond the classic standard preparations. From refreshing iced coffees and fizzy variations to the classic Irish coffee, there's something here for every taste, and because every creation is tailored to our own house coffee, you'll taste its full aroma in every glass. In our blog section you'll find a wide range of refreshing summer drinks to recreate at home.
Refreshing Summer Drinks to Cool You Down
On hot summer days, coffee doesn't have to be piping hot, because served ice-cold it develops a freshness all of its own. Cold coffee drinks thrive on contrast: fruity, fizzy or creamy ingredients meet a bold coffee aroma, and your usual espresso turns into a summery drink. Whether you give your coffee a fizzy lift with a citrus note and tonic or spoon it up as a frozen granita is entirely up to you.
Tip: Feel free to brew the coffee a little stronger than usual for cold drinks. Otherwise the melting ice waters the drink down and takes away part of its aroma. If you make cold brew, you won't have this worry, since it's mild and low in bitterness from the outset.
Creamy Creations with Frothed Milk
Of course, these chilled creations don't only taste good black, because our coffee beans get along wonderfully with milk. A dark roast with a bold bitter note carries frothed milk particularly well, since the milk's subtle sweetness rounds off the sharper notes. From there you can refine it however you like: with spices such as chai, a spoonful of yoghurt or a dash of liqueur, as in the Iced Baileys Coffee. For the perfect milk foam, the rule of thumb is: use cold milk and warm it only until it's creamy, but not boiling hot.
Made for Rising Coffee
What all coffee recipes have in common is our very own Rising Coffee. For the blend, we combine beans from India, Guatemala and Colombia and gently roast them into a dark roast in around 18 minutes. The result is a full body with a lingering bitter note that holds its own ice-cold just as well as in an espresso, so you'll find the same reliable base in every drink. You can get the right Rising Coffee for your recipes in our shop in 500-gram and 1-kilo packs.
