THE BLOCK CIGAR ASHTRAY

Raw and reduced, handmade in the studio in Ittigen. The power of The Block lies in its simplicity. The high-quality ashtray made of concrete is a clear statement for aficionados and design enthusiasts: no frills, just straight lines. Designed by managing director Markus Friedli, it cements his love of architecture and monolithic design using concrete as a building material.  

The production takes several days - from the production of the wooden formwork and the reinforcement to the casting and complete drying. The raw block then receives the final touch: the finishing with the signature of the Bernese artist Micha Häni aka Vierwind. The Block – a force. 

Note: Due to the handmade nature of each piece, the texture and coloring may vary slightly, adding to the uniqueness of each individual ashtray.
